Study Tips: How to Use the Pomodoro Technique

4.    Take a short break. After each Pomodoro session, spend at least five minutes to relax your mind.

5.    Take a long break after four Pomodoro sessions. Reward yourself with a long respite (20-30 minutes) after you repeated the process four times.

•    Limit distractions. The Pomodoro technique helps you manage not only non-study interferences but also study-related distractions. Its systematic planning system guarantees that you can give your full attention to each of your review requirements—a concern that often causes stress and anxiety in many IELTS test takers.

•    Promote productivity. The 25-minute distraction-free Pomodoro sessions improve your concentration, consequently leading to producing more and better quality works.

•    Balance lifestyle. Not everyone can focus all their time on their IELTS review. Some examinees are employed while others are still studying in the university. The Pomodoro system’s efficient timetable enables you to balance your previous commitments and your IELTS preparations.
