3.    Brainstorm ideas in bullet points. This will help you generate momentum. You can start small by doing bullet points. You write what you know and then try to arrange them afterwards. This will help you organize your thoughts.

4.    Eliminate mental distractions. If you are going through a personal dilemma, like if a family member is sick, it is best to leave these distractions at home. Try to concentrate on the task at hand and do not let problems cross your mind. It can be very difficult but your brain should learn to encompass different aspects of your life.

5.    Pause. Rethink. Losing your thought in the middle of answering the IELTS Writing is inevitable. So know when to take a pause to gather your thoughts and rethink your answers. Most of the time, when we write during exams, we are blanketed with fear and panic. Giving yourself a few minutes to breath is beneficial to you.
